December 5th & 6th: Falls Church Holiday Craft Show at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. View a map.
Holiday Shopping Boutique:
During the month of December, shop by appointment throughout the month
to get your gift-shopping done in low-stress style; gift wrap
included. It's not too late to place custom orders.
Website Enhancements
Online Shop:
It's the main feature of the updated site. Now you can make secure
credit card purchases online by using PayPal, whether or not you have a
PayPal account.
Sold:
Items that have been sold have been separated into a Sold Gallery.
Browse it for designs or stones that you like, and we can discuss
having something similar custom-made for you.
Availability: My
Database Guru has set up a system that allows me to display the number
of items I have in stock for any piece of jewelry on the website. Most
are one-of-a-kind, but if I have 2 or 3 available, you'll see that
number when you click on the image to see the large view. If you don't
see a drop-down box, it means there's only 1 available. Here's a screen shot of a bracelet with 2 in stock.
Metal Allergies
are a concern for a number of my customers; so here's a new page that
explains some of the problems and solutions I've found. If metal
allergies are keeping you from wearing your jewelry, email me and let's talk about what might work for you.
Customer Stories
have been an unexpected but delightful side benefit of this
business, so here's a page in which you can read their stories. Is
yours missing? Click here to send me your story.
The Newsletters
I send out each month sometimes feature a particular stone, or customer
story, and sometimes both. If you'd like to see any of the past
newsletters, they're all archived here.
Other pages have been updated to include new or revised information, such as Custom Jewelry, and Customer Service.
The Custom Jewelry page contains a link to help you measure your wrist
to find your bracelet size, and an illustration showing various
necklace lengths, as well as some details about custom orders, which I
happily welcome.
Last but definitely not least, I'd like to thank my own personal A Team: Jonathan Thayer (logo and website design), and Gregory Brutsché (database and system administration). I couldn't do any of this without their guidance and expertise.
I LOVE feedback and would especially like to hear from you, if you've got a suggestion, question, comment, or idea. Send me your feedback.

I'm still thinking in purple, with earrings to match the necklaces I made last month.
First up is fluorite, in a design that highlights the colors that made me fall in love with the stone.
The earrings pair up with this necklace:
Next up, carved amethyst:
that matches up with this necklace:
Lemon jasper earrings show their true colors:
to match this necklace:
And cubes of glass dangle from oval wire:
to compliment the matching bracelet:
