A Mammoth Problem
When Customer M pick up some repairs I had just completed, she brought another set with her. Among the items was a small pair of earrings which she held up to show me, adding that these were her favorites. She showed me the spot on one of the earrings where a bead was missing. This, she explained, was a woolly mammoth fossil bead, and although it was tiny, she loved it. She bought them at a museum while on vacation in Alaska.
We had a good laugh as I told her I was pretty sure I didn't have any woolly mammoth fossils in my bead stash. Organza Ribbon necklaces are what's new this month. Pendants of all shapes and colors adorn these necklaces in black, champagne, blue, and brown organza. Delicate blown glass orbs are nearly weightless strung on the ribbon, and all the ornament they need are sterling spacer beads to complete the look.
Here are a few of my favorites:
These necklaces can easily be made to order. Most pendants are one-of-a-kind, so make an appointment to design your own!
Moss Amethyst:
The most unusual stone I've seen in a long time, this clear stone is flecked with inclusions of red, black, purple, and silver -- almost like confetti.

Thanks to Joanne for spotting these at the gem show!
